From anti-trafficking clubs to self-help groups, each program below is drawn directly from EDISAN Trust's field activity — with the people it reached and the problem it was built to solve.
Awareness camps explaining anti-trafficking law to rural women, and the formation of clubs to raise the visibility of trafficking survivors and press for protection of their rights.
Sessions on child rights, child labour, school discipline, health, parental services, social education and protection from abuse — delivered through one-on-one talks, group work and audio-visual teaching.
Rallies, street plays and dance performances educating rural communities on water quality, conservation and equitable access — aimed at securing safe water for cooking and drinking on a sustainable basis.
Short- and long-term courses in office management, electronics, computing and tailoring, paired with placement support and apprenticeship training to build income independence.
Promotes home gardens as part of local food systems — improving nutrition, cardiovascular health and household income while cutting food insecurity in both rural and urban settings.
Workshops for sanitation workers, engineers, contractors and officials on safe cleaning practices and the mechanised cleaning of sewers and septic tanks.
Delivered with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Tiruppur District, briefing village volunteers and youth clubs on the welfare schemes available to them.
Covers the right to education and work, maternity benefits and leave, and protection from domestic violence, child marriage and sexual offences.
Forms and trains rural Self-Help Groups in dairy, sheep-rearing, goat-rearing, piggery, poultry and non-farm income activities, with bank credit linkage that keeps members away from high-interest moneylenders.

A recurring drive supplying notebooks, stationery kits and geometry boxes to children in Alathur, Pasukuttai and nearby villages, backed by donors including The Shamdasani Foundation and Chenniappa Yarn Spinners Pvt. Ltd.
