About the trust

Fifteen years of showing up in Avinashi Taluk.

Founded in 2011, EDISAN — the Educational Development Indian Social Awareness Network Trust — is a registered public charitable trust working for the development of the poorest communities in Tiruppur District, Tamil Nadu.

Mission

To empower marginalised and vulnerable communities through sustainable development initiatives, leadership building, education, health interventions, child rights protection, women's empowerment, and social justice programs that enable people to improve their quality of life and participate actively in society.

Vision

To build an equitable, inclusive, and socially just society where every child, woman, and marginalised individual enjoys dignity, equal opportunities, access to quality education and healthcare, sustainable livelihoods, and the freedom to realise their full potential.
